Mobile App Testing for iOS 18 and Beyond

Sauce Labs supports virtual devices running the latest iOS releases 26 and 27 and Android 16 and 17 — with Android now running on ARM-native virtual devices.

As the most scalable provider of virtual device testing, this represents a significant step forward for mobile teams who need consistent quality across both Apple and Android devices.

Both Apple and Android have transitioned to ARM architecture. Apple Silicon powers iPhones, iPads, and Macs. Android devices ship on ARM64 processors. Infrastructure that does not match this architecture introduces translation overhead, slower execution, and results that do not reflect real device behavior.

Sauce Labs is the first enterprise testing platform to offer ARM-native virtual Android execution at CI/CD scale, including support for ARM64-native libraries that x86 emulators cannot run, and configurable virtual device profiles for non-standard OEM screen sizes and hardware configurations.

Reduce Test Execution Times

Sauce Labs Virtual Device Cloud provides support for automated mobile app and web tests across iOS and Android.

Broader testing coverage: Test against the latest iOS and Android versions to ensure full coverage and prevent quality issues from reaching production.

Better developer experience: Test apps with the latest platform features right from your development environment, saving time and accelerating release cycles.

Industry-leading testing performance: With iOS simulators on Apple Silicon and Android on ARM-native virtual devices, teams see dramatically faster session starts and test execution.

Virtual Desktop and Browser Testing

Sauce Labs Virtual Device Cloud delivers desktop web testing across all three major platforms: macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Test the latest macOS 27 release, Golden Gate on ARM infrastructure with Safari, Chrome, and Firefox; Windows with Edge, Chrome, and Firefox; and Linux with Chrome and Firefox — across multiple desktop resolutions.

Wherever your users browse, Sauce Labs Virtual Device Cloud provides the coverage to match, on infrastructure built for reliability, performance, and accelerated test execution times.Learn more at saucelabs.com
